Vintage and computer, terms that once may have seemed at odds with each other now are increasingly
commonplace. So the time has come to clean out the closet of my vintage Apple wares, down to the core.
All repacked back into their original boxes. Silent now but for the warm after-glow from their once active advertising genes, now set in the off position.
My List:
Apple G3 computer - so-long old friend
Apple Laser Writer 12/640 - not a colourful fellow but crisp and scalable
16" View Sonic monitor - small for a monitor, however it was born in captivity
Arcus 2 Pro Scanner - I could never get the police on it
Canon fax/phone - wouldn't you know, a fax came through, just as I was tapping the box shut
Epson Printer - now this guy was colourful, but not so sharp
Lacie Burner - you may have to turn it down if you do bagels
Tell me about your favourite old computer pal and how it felt to disconnect his lifeline and
sell him on the open market for gas money.
